Liberal Party (LP) officers
and members have to stick together, or hang together, which is why Mar Roxas
was chosen by Noynoy as the administration’s standard bearer in the 2016 polls.
Neither Noynoy nor his party officials and members had a choice,
simply because a non-member would not be able to provide protection for them,
after 2016. Their hope now hinges on Mar to continue protecting them from being
charged and jailed.
There still are many of his allies
today who have been included in the pork scam list, as audited by the
Commission on Audit. The only reason they aren’t facing the courts is that
Noynoy’s puppet of a Justice Secretary, Leila de Lima, who hopes to win a
Senate seat, refuses to charge them. As for Morales, neither is she moving
against the biggies allied with Noynoy, even if, under the law, she certainly
can investigate motu propio, these scams and legislators involved, as the only
targets are the three opposition senators, who are currently detained, and are
facing charges of plunder.
Noynoy was certain that Mar
would do this for him and his Cabinet members who have complaints lodged in the
Ombudsman’s office which is not being touched at all by Noynoy’s puppet,
Conchita Carpio-Morales.
It was also noted that
after Grace more or less knew that she wasn’t being thought of as the
administration’s standard bearer, she also changed her tune on her Mamasapano
massacre report, suddenly saying that she will be bringing this up to the
plenary — after so many months of her saying that there was no need to bring up
the report to the plenary, since she had already submitted her report to the
Ombudsman. But she now says that she stands by her report, and that Noynoy is
liable and responsible for the botched Oplan Exodus that resulted in the
massacre of the 44 Special Action Forces (SAF) commandos. #WakeUpPhilippines #NoToMarRoxas #MarRoxas
